A Birthday Party at Stuyvesant Town Park

It was at the park right by the fountain a few yard in from the 18th and 1st avenue entrance.  Stuyvesant Town is one of those places that is in Manhattan but doesn't feel like the rest of Manhattan when you there.  And even though there has been trouble with ownership and finances, it's still a beautiful place to spend a Saturday afternoon.

And after a month of fast paced documentary work in kitchens, garbage pits, and basements it was nice to take it slow with a prime lens and capture some portraits and still life images.
