Playground Opening for the Wall Street Journal

Last week, I had the great opportunity to shoot for the Wall Street Journal's newly launched metro section. I was out for a run in the morning when a 212 number came up on my phone. I picked up and it was a photo editor from the Wall Street Journal asking if i could be in Richmond Hill in 40 minutes for a story. I promptly stopped running the track and finished up my run by sprinting back home to get ready.

I made it to P.S. 62 in time to cover the opening ceremony of a newly built $1 million dollar playground for the elementary school. Needless to say, it was an exciting way to start the day.
