Chelsea + Mike | One Year Anniversary

Some people go out to a nice dinner, others get presents for one another, but Chelsea and Mike decided that for their one year anniversary, they wanted to dress up and brave the New York City winter for a photo shoot.  Photos never show how cold or windy it was when the photo was taken. All we see if the smile and the moment of courage to stand up to the chill. We ended the night with photos at a lounge in Chelsea's apartment building. We debated on whether or not we wanted to go back out to Times Square but realized we should call it a night while we could still feel our fingers.

Angela & David's Engagement Shoot | New York, New York

They are getting the best of both worlds. A wedding in Korea with all their friends and family and an engagement shoot in NYC where Angela and David are from. We went to all their favorite places in the city: their favorite bakery, central park, 5th avenue, Time Square, and the Brooklyn Bridge. It was an adventure traveling all around town, especially while the UN's General Assembly was taking place but we managed to get the shoot done.

Gage Jung

I don't know if you've ever met a pastor like Gage Jung. He has a huge tattoo in Hebrew on his forearm, wears a fedora and his leads a church named "The Hipster Church". Korea Mag recently did an interview about him and asked me to take some photos for the feature. His church is in the heart of Flushing, Queens. Seeing that he was from Brooklyn and Flushing was my old stomping grounds, I took him to all my usual spots around there, my favorite being Lucia's Pizza on Roosevelt ave.

Yonette Odessa

Yonette is releasing her single this summer and she needed to have some shots taken for it. It was great walking around Meatpacking District in NYC having her sing her song in the middle of the street as we dodged people and cabs trying to get the right shot.  It's always a challenge shooting somewhere so crowded (these high school boys kept trying to photo bomb our photos at one point) but New York City is amazing because you can shoot make it seem as if you're somewhere completely different, or have NYC shine in all her iconic beauty.  Love living here and doing what I do!
