Sharon & Chung

The last time I saw Sharon was probably in the cafeteria of my high school between 5th and 6th period.  I think she was a sophomore.   Then almost 8 years later, she is being made up and put into a wedding dress!  It was a surprise to say the least, but a great one.  Even though she's in Philadelphia right now, her ceremony and reception was at the church she grew up in, and so many people were invited to celebrate the wonderful day.

Sunday Breakfasts

sundayportraits-0001.jpg
I usually get to her place at around 9 to pick her up.

We go to the same diner each week on 39th st called Pete's Grill. We're regulars there now. The maitre d tries to sit us at a booth by the window. Penny is usually our waitress, and is one of those people who seems to love her job. She has a smile even if she had a 12 hour shift the night before.

It's our favorite meal of the week. We talk about the week that passed and the week to come. It's time that we've set to allow life to slow down and enjoy together a quiet morning and all of its moments. We decided to take a picture of each other every week during the meal, like those daily self portrait projects. So that's where these pictures are from.
