Award Winning Photograph for WPJA Q3 Contest

One great things about being a part of WPJA (The Wedding Photojournalist Association) is the opportunity to enter in their quarterly contests.  Photographers from all over the world submit their best images from the wedding's they've covered that year. And since everyone has a certain amount of images they can enter, it gives everyone an equal chance to win.  It doesn't matter how long you've been a member or how big or small your career is, it's about the merit of the photograph and nothing else.

The last quarter's contest had 13,686 entries and only 240 were awarded, so it's an honor to have one of my images selected.  The image is from Diana & Khoa's wedding in April of last year.

After being accepted to the WPJA in January, I only had a couple days left to submit photos for the Q4 photography contest.

A couple months later, the results are in and I'm excited to say that two photographs were placed in the contest.
